About: The Secret Code to Your Personality

The Secret Code to Your Personality: How Cats & Dogs Teach Us to Live & Love

Introduction: What You Really Need to Know Before Another Day Goes by!

Through many years in the mental health field, I’ve learned that only a few things are necessary for a healthy “self" and for thriving, satisfying relationships:

  1. A truthful spirituality: love for God and His creation~
  2. An ability to live from our true (as opposed to false) self~
  3. A vigorous love for family and friends~

I've combined these insights into a book that utilizes psychological principles, and observations about the personalities of cats and dogs, to create a fun, entertaining and eminently helpful “personality theory” that encourages personal and relational growth.

For those who desire faster, easier consumption, I've sub-divided the larger book into a shorter summary book. Truth must be consumed and digested or else it remains head knowledge, and can’t invigorate your heart. This version is meant to help you access the information, digest it, and apply it quickly. My hope is that you will find the shortened version so helpful, intriguing, and inspiring, that you will find yourself hungering for more. The complete book offers personality inventories and graphs, stories and examples, so that you and your friends can discover your unique personalities, and how they impact your relationships, your careers, your dating & marriage styles, your creativity, etc. Each chapter goes into greater depth (full of fun and wisdom) than the short version. These books are written to use humor and heart to inspire you, and help you integrate these truths into your being.

Both books (the long and the short of it) teach techniques for how individuals and relationships can grow through a non-judgmental and non-threatening approach. By utilizing the wisdom of our beloved cats and dogs, and integrating it with psychological theory, "The Secret Code to Your Personality" offers  a fun and frolicking system for maximizing your strengths and transforming your weaknesses.

Many well-known temperament theories stem from the Aristotelian idea of humours (chemistry) in the body. This one uses humor instead~because most people learn more rapidly and grow healthiest, when they approach life with a sense of humor and an attitude of gratitude. This can make or break your chances of success!
